B-Dizzle Productions : Interview with Nathan Blade

When I created this blog, I knew that there would be no way I could ignore the kids in my town who are also doing great things. Today, I introduce you to B-Dizzle Productions, a few kids by the name of Brenten Kelly, Nathan Blade, and Austin Hill that I happen to know.

In tenth grade, Nathan and Brenten tossed video ideas back and forth. They made a few videos togeher, and then made Kung Frau for their German class. After that, it was B-Dizzle history. Austin Hill got thrown into the mix, and the three of them became the perfect trio for making skits and videos.

Not to be soley attached to video making, the boys also expand their talents into photography, and music making. Check these boys out, soon they will be moving from your computer screen, to the big screen.

who is B-Dizzle Productions made up of, and how did you all get together?
I could say that B-Dizzle Productions is made up of only three people but that would only be halfway true. Lets just say that we all have two sides to us. There would be:

Brenten Kelly (Bruce Bingham)
Nathan Blade (Steven Tanner)
Austin Hill (Cordelle Cooper)

All three of us played a different part in the birth of B-Dizzle. As it's been described Brenten Kelly is the mother of B-Dizzle
productions he spent a multitude of fourth hour classes tenth grade German classes in labor with this bad boy. Not only did he come up with the idea for us to get together and make videos he also named it. Nathan Blade could be considered two things either he was the father who paced back in forth in the emergency room waiting for the child to be born or he was the doctor who delivered it. Nathan shared that fourth hour tenth grade German class with Brenten and was there when the whole idea came into play. The first video the two of them was a knock of American Idol that has never been viewed by anyone. But the first big one they made was Kung Frau, a video created for a German school project. The video got so much hype and was liked by a lot of the students that they made and sold DVD's of the video. Now Austin is the God Father of the company you can say. He wasn't there for the birth and didn't have to sit through the labor but he came into the picture some months later and added a lot to the videos. And Basically thats how the whole thing started.

And now I've forgotten the original question, but I hope I answered it.

do all of you see futures in entertainment? or is this all just for fun?
To fully answer this question we took a field trip down to the local Fortune Teller to see what she had to say. All she told us was that one of us had a recent heart break in the past and that they were still troubled by it. This little prediction set about a lot of crying and hugs, but failed to tell us where we would be in the future. So it's up to us to make the prediction for ourselves and I don't think any of us would have it any other way. Whether we all stick together and keep making videos is still a prediction for the crystal ball. But I think we all hope to keep doing what were doing and thats making videos together. If that doesn't end up happening then I'm sure you'll still see us in some form of creative entertainment whether it be solo movie projects, music or photography I think our creativity and passion for music and media will never stop. One thing is for sure I don't think you'll ever see is in business suits trying to land a 30 million dollar deal with some higher up firm. I'd rather be forced to watch Brittney Spears perform at the 2007 awards show over and over then end up that way.

what kind of equipment is used when it comes to the movie making?
Well we use some pretty advanced futuristic equipment we hijacked from a downed alien spacecraft just outside area 51. By the seventh word in the sentence you could probably already tell I was lieing...or was I? Honestly though we've used a plethora of different cameras over the years. Such models as the Sony High 8 Handycam, some Panisonic model we can't remember but has been discontinued since the one we had broke, to a GL2. As for editing the videos we do it the way anyone else would by uploading video to the computer and using video editing programs to add text and cool effects. It's pretty basic stuff, maybe someday we'll have more money to upgrade to sweeter cameras and higher end video editing programs. But as of now we are but starving artists, any donations to the cause welcome haha.

seriously.

where do the ideas for your videos come from?
Our ideas come from pretty much anywhere. We could all just be sitting around and talking then randomly a cool idea pops into one of our heads and we just run with it. Or from conversations over MSN and AIM sometimes random things we are talking about slowly level up and evolve into ideas for future movies. A lot our videos though are just mock parodies of everyday activities people do. Like scootering or track and field events. We never are really looking out for video ideas we usually let them come to us, it works better that way. Kind of like a dog, you might want to pet it but your too lazy to get up and find it so you just wait till it comes to you.

...And that was a horrible metaphor..I'm sorry for that.

where can people watch a B-Dizzle Production video?
You can watch B-Dizzle videos on our myspace at www.myspace.com/bdizzleproductions or under the name bdizzleproductions on you tube.
