Poetry.

Sometimes I get messages from people asking to feature their craft on the blog (and sometimes I ask for people to ask me ;)) Most of the time, it's bands in need of a little promotion (which I'm always happy to give) or new clothing lines hoping to get the word out. Rarely do I get someone who wants to put their poetry or prose out there. So here is a poem that I get sent to me that I actually enjoy quite a bit. Enjoy it, check out her myspace, etc.

My life is a circus
and your the ringmaster.
like the contortionist, i bend over backwards for you.
like the elephants, i will never look good enough.
like the aerialists, who risk everything for nothing.
like the clowns, i'm a joke to you.
darling, read all about it: this circus is leaving town.

If you have any poetry or SHORT stories that you would like featured, send them my way and I'll give them a look over.

Also, please look down at the previous posts. Watch the episodes of OddTV (new episodes this week!) and check out my writers post. I could really use some dedicated help!

I like the new layout. I hope you get more assistance while I'm gone, I'd like to see this place thrive when I get back.
