Get Free Clothing

In the world, there are many people that surprise you. The skinny nerdy kid who loves black metal, the cheerleader who's into quantum physics, the man who sometimes looks a little like a lumberjack from time to time who is starting a clothing line. Matt Manning has been playing bass for From First to Last and before that, he was singing in the band Dead Reckless. A first glance at Manning and he doesn't seem like the sort of guy to associate with a clothing line but at the end of the day Matt Manning is the proud creator of an original one of a kind clothing line.


What made you want to start a clothing line?
I wanted to get something going outside of music in my life. and i don't like many clothes so i figured i would start making them myself.

What do you personally get out of designing that you don't get out of playing music?
Well for one i get paid hahah and its a nice break from touring its nice to be able to work from home.

How does your line represent you as a musician and a person?
i think it just represents what i like. ive been on a spiritual journey for a little while now and i want to start including that into my clothing and art, i think the further along i go the more that side of me will start showing through.

Was designing something you always wanted to do or did the idea grow on you the more you thought about it?
It was just one of those things where i thought "hey why cant i do that?"

Who are some of the bands/artists who wear your clothing? who do you hope to see repping your clothes soon?
I had the shirts out with me one warped tour so i got to get alot of my friends some gear. Jordan from Every Time I Die, Jake from Four Year Strong, a lot of people were interested in it. so i just gave it out to my friends.

Where does your inspiration come from?
hahaha pot? i don't know its just fun to sit around and draw up ideas that would look rad on a shirt.

What can we expect from get free clothing in the future?
Jean jackets and Flannels!!! woooo! maybe some cig cases hahah
