Sincere Clothing Company : Jeremey Cacciola interview

I would love to say that I had the chance to sit down and chat with Jeremey Cacciola, the creator of Sincere Clothing Company. Instead, I can say that we both sat down to our computers and sent a few Myspace messages back and forth.

To sum it up, SCC has some badass shirts. With shirts made for men and women, the designs are mainly based off 'the scene.' Try your hardest to put the straightner down, and that eyeliner and check them out. Plus, the creator of the company seems to be pretty chill, and you can't go wrong with that.

who is the creator of Sincere Clothing Company and where did it originate?
The creator and owner is Jeremey Cacciola, and the company originated in Mentone California, in October 2004

where did the idea for it come from?
The idea came from early basic design work I did for bands, it was pretty cheezy cuz I was just starting and didn't have any real design programs. after making a few, I figured id make my own art and put it on shirts.

how long has it been around for?
Well, it started in October 2004, but started actual work in mid 2005

are the bands on your page sponsored by you? and how can a band or another clothing company become affiliates with you or be sponsored by you?
The bands are sponsored by us and we try and help them out as much as possible, and the Affiliate companies/people are friends of Sincere, who we help promote and support. What we look for in a band for a sponsorship is talent, live stage presence (can they bring a crowd and make the show crazy?), and most important, a unique sound. If they have that then they are better off for a sponsorship, but we prefer not to read tons of "Please sponsor us" mail. :) we get to much!Any companies or individuals who want to participate in an affiliation should contact us, and we can always help promote and exchange services.

what type of person would be one to wear Sincere Clothing?
Hahah, really anyone who likes the designs/styles. But realistically, the designs are based off the Scene, you know.. the kids with the hair :) . We have all different styles, some are more Horror based and some are more flashy. But anyone who wears it, is a friend of ours!

what advice would you give to aspiring designers?
Keep it up! Get your designs out there and always try something new. If you learn multiple styles of design work, you can a large range of clients. Experimenting is always a good way to learn new things. Just dont give up and enjoy what you do.
